WORLD BUILDING
231 Studios worked with Nexus Studios to create environment assets for EE GameDay 2024: a campaign spanning multiple playable formats and platforms.
Our job was to help the spaces feel like parts of the same event while giving each game enough of its own character, clarity and pace.
02 / THE WORK
SHARED LANGUAGE
DISTINCT PLAY SPACES
The asset set supported four experiences: EE Wembley Goal Run, EE Cross Country Run, EE Moonshot Mission and a Fortnite minigame map.
Repeated materials, lighting cues and branded architectural details helped each setting belong to GameDay without flattening the personality of the individual games.
A coherent set of forms, materials and details that could travel between platforms.
Clear silhouettes and strong landmarks designed to support players as well as the campaign.
Game-ready assets prepared with the wider technical and creative pipeline in mind.
